Pine Cliffs Resort in the central Algarve host its sixth annual Winners’ Cup over the weekend of 20-21 February 2016 and the competition involves last year’s winners of weekly golf tournaments vying for the trophy. Prizes include a fantastic week’s stay at Grosvenor House, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Dubai for the overall golf champion. Pine Cliffs stages weekly golf tournaments throughout the year and all winners are invited back to play for the trophy. In addition to competitive golf, all guests may enjoy the “Winners’ Cup Village” with its various activities from wellness massages to food and wine tastings. The ‘Winners’ weekend always concludes with an awards ceremony and gala dinner and this year’s theme is a ‘Vintage Years’ extravaganza in partnership with Algarve Classic Cars. To qualify for the 2016 Pine Cliffs Winners’ Cup visitors will have stayed at Pine Cliffs during 2015 and won one of the weekly tournaments. The next weekly competitions recommence in March this year and with the added incentive of the Winners’ Cup 2017 qualifying competitions it looks like being another great season for the Pine Cliffs Resort.
