From 24th – 28th July, 150 junior golfers will once again descend on Amendoeira Golf Resort in the Algarve for the Oceânico World Kids Golf Championship. The event, a firm favourite of the game’s future stars, has a stellar tradition for guaranteeing young golfers a fantastic week to remember and insight into the life of a tour pro. Home to two 18 hole Championship layouts, the O’Connor Jnr Course, and the Faldo Course, recently named ‘Portugal’s Best’ by the World Golf Awards, the week at Amendoeira offers golfers aged between 7 and 18 the chance compete over three competition rounds. With state of the art practice facilities, dedicated player lounges and access to the courses for practice rounds prior to the start of competition, the players are made to feel like stars. The Oceânico World Kids Championship places great emphasis on ensuring that the week-long experience is fully enjoyed by everyone in attendance and families are encouraged to attend and support the youngsters while enjoying the resort’s first class facilities.
