Last year’s record of 127 entries for Oceânico World Kids Golf Championship (OWKG) looks set to be broken. The 2015 event at Amendoeira Golf Resort will see golfers aged 10 and over contesting three full rounds while under 10s play three 9-hole rounds. Oceânico Golf CEO, Chris Stilwell, confirmed that the event is “among the upper echelons of Europe’s elite amateur junior golf calendar.” The OWKG makes a significant contribution to junior golf with under 16 and under 18 categories earning points for the World Amateur Golf rankings. Entry fees range from 110 to 240. For information visit www.oceanicogolf.com/tournaments/oceanico-world-kids-golf/
