The Vilamoura Golf Club School teaches young golfers from 6 to 18. It hopes to provide some future champions and 180 juniors boys and girls were recently observed learning from Oceanico golf pros, Manuel Pardal, Abílio Coelho, Francisco Ponte, Hugo Santos, Ricardo Lopes and Joaquim Sequeira. So many juniors enthusiastically learning the rules of golf and gaining the confidence to play the game is extremely encouraging. The school’s impressive record of success includes having already produced national and international champions and school head Jorge Baptista readily stresses how “very proud” he is of such accomplishments.
