Golfers in the Algarve and across Europe who are unattached to a club can now utilise the new Golfingindex.com facility. Clubs have a digital `Signinbook’ for storing information and communicating with golfers. Powered by Club Systems International (CSI) software provider, there is access to details of over 1,300,000 UK members. Richard Peabody of CSI explains that there is “an estimated 1,000,000 unattached golfers in the UK and Ireland” and that they can now use clubs “more often and feel valued”. Golfingindex also allows golf societies to communicate with members and to manage and publish results. More details at www.golfingindex.com.
