The second season of the popular TV show ‘Golf’s Greatest Holes’, aired on UK Sky Sports twice a day in the UK and Ireland is being sponsored by One Green Way Residences, a new residential golf community in Quinta do Lago.
The show is hosted by the former Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley and TV presenter Chris Hollins, featuring 26 courses and cultural locations in Portugal as well as many of the country’s famous golfing destinations.
Sky Sports golf presenter Sarah Stirk, ambassador for One Green Way, commented: “As someone who owns a second home in Quinta do Lago and is passionate about golf, I will certainly be glued to this new series. Quinta do Lago, which recently hosted the One Green Way Invitational, a Pro-Am tournament attended by 60 ‘legends’, is much loved by many of the world’s greatest golfers – and with good reason.”
Portugal has the “greatest density of quality championship courses in Continental Europe”, and that is why “Portugal was an obvious choice for Season Two of the show, thanks to its diversity of courses, from the sun-soaked coastal playground of the Algarve to the more rugged mountainous regions of Porto and the North,” said the press release statement.
