Pink was the order of the day from the top to the bottom: pink flags, pink tee box markers, pink score cards. And the Pink Ladies did not disappoint – all dressed in pink, even down to their shoes!

With pink fizz, Italian sandwiches, Indian nibbles, and meat patties, served with a smile by our fabulous SDM dream boys, the day went down in a blaze of Pink.

After the game, all the Ladies had tea and cakes, which preceded the live auction, raffle prize draw and finally the golf prize giving.

In first place, with 50 points, Debbie Newton & Sue Adams won the Pink Ladies Cup. Several Ladies won Nearest the Pins, and prizes were awarded down to 12th place.

Due to the generosity of all involved, including the many sponsors of the event, such as Pestana, Brasserie Rosal, Blevins Franks, La Bella Vita, Indigo restaurant, EverYou Hair and Makeup, there was a great selection of prizes.

The icing on the cake was that the Algarve Oncology Association (AOA) in Faro, the beneficiary of the event, will receive in excess of €9,500 from the day. The festivities were capped with a drone group photo on the 18th green.

A huge thank you to all involved in a fantastic day. We are already looking forward to the next one!
