A starstudded proam golf competition at Sheraton Pine Cliffs Resort has raised almost 2,000 for a very deserving cause. The President of the PGA Portugal, José Correia attended as well as top professionals including Hugo Santos, Miguel Gaspar, João Carlota, Gonçalo Pinto, Mónia Bernardo, Paul Tipper, Manuel Batista and João Beires. Participants enjoyed a great day raising funds for AHSA (Associação Humanitária Solidariedade Albufeira) which supports local people. The winning team was João Carlota, Simon Stephens, Tim PatersonBrown and Anthony Francis Armelin with 80 points although the real winners were the AHSA organisation and the needy families of Albufeira.
