Monte Rei Golf and Country Club is located in the eastern Algarve and is extending its horizons even further east to Asia. A recent announcement confirmed that the club’s first Asian partner club is Mission Hills Resort in China. As China’s highest rated golf and leisure resort, Mission Hills boasts a 20-square kilometre golf complex with twelve 18-hole courses, it is the winner of multiple international awards and according to the Guinness World Records is the world’s largest golf club.
Mission Hills is regarded as the cradle of golf in China and hosts the region’s most important tournaments, including the World Cup of Golf and the Asian Amateur Championship.
