Serra de Monchique golf club, Silves has many happy, active members. Nearly one hundred players participated in Captains Day 2015 and the turnout made it especially memorable for Captain Ray Groves. The awards were presented later at the Tivoli Hotel, Carvoeiro and other events scheduled this year include a November gala presentation, the members’ annual outing to Spain and the Christmas dinner. Serra de Monchique also holds charity events and beneficiaries include several local charities. It’s certainly all happening at the Silves club and the fantastic support from members is sure to guarantee even more success in the future.
