Ricardo Gouveia has become the highestranked Portuguese golfer ever. Aiming to be the first home winner of the Portugal Masters, he has won twice on the Challenge Tour climbing to 119th in the Official World Golf Ranking aided by his recent ROLEX Trophy runnerup place in Geneva. Ricardo outlined his preparation for this year’s Portugal Masters. “I will be taking the week off before it to get ready, because I’m playing so well and want to be properly prepared for it.” Such dedication confirms that Ricardo Gouveia justifiably anticipates more success in the months and years ahead.
