Lagos residents Bryan Chadbourn and Chris Drummey came up with the idea of staging a summer golf tournament for the benefit of the Volunteer Firefighters Charity. As a result, Pauline Binnie, Golf Operations Manager at Espiche Golf Club proudly presented the VFC with a very impressive cheque for almost 5,000 euros. Following a shotgun start, eighty golfers participated in a highly successful event leading to the firefighters’ cash windfall. Pauline stressed that Bryan and Chris deserve great praise for their marvellous efforts and that all the players who took part are to be “congratulated for their contribution to such a great cause”.
