Espiche Golf recently celebrated its 3rd anniversary with an inaugural Summer Soiree Party for more than 220 members and guests. The event was held within the unique Espiche club house and grounds which enjoys a genuinely global recognition as a model for eco-friendly development. Espiche also used the occasion to publicly recognise many of the individuals and organisations that have provided support the development of Espiche since the days before and since its formation in the western Algarve. Joining in the fun with members were partners in the tourism business, service providers, various suppliers and individuals including Dora Coelho, Managing Director at ATA (the Algarve Tourism Association), Philip Pope, General Manager at Boavista Golf Resort, Sofia Ribeiro, General Manager Hotel Vila Galé, Lagos and Alexandra Almeida from the Portuguese Golf Federation. The occasion was widely acclaimed as a major success and a fitting tribute to a club now firmly established as a major player on the Algarve golf scene.
