Golfers in the Algarve might enjoy a trip to the nation’s capital to take part in the inaugural ORIZONTE Lisbon Golf Trophy. This is a new event designed to showcase some of Lisbon’s finest and best value courses and where golfers can compete against amateurs from all over Europe. The event takes place from February 10-15 and will involve friendly competition across two handicap categories. There are also cultural highlights including a Fado dinner, wine cellar visit and tasting.
Included in the package are five nights’ accommodation at the 4-star Sesimbra Hotel & SPA with breakfast each day and a prize-giving dinner also on the programme. The four tournament rounds are played at Quinta do Peru, Aroeira, Ribagolfe and Santo Estevão with all transfers included.
Plenty of prizes are on offer in two handicap groups: Category 1 (handicaps to 18.4) and Category 2 (handicaps to 36).
