Espiche Golf in the western Algarve boasts a course and clubhouse which are skillfully integrated the surroundings to preserve the natural ecosystem. The clubhouse was built on the site of an Algarvian ruin and, to maintain the site’s history, original stone has been incorporated into its modern structure. Such sensitive detail contributes to Espiche’s nomination for ‘best project’ in the tourism category awards of the Magazine Imobiliário. Espiche is the sole golf nomination and general manager Luís Rocha is immensely proud of the growing reputation of Espiche as a special golfing place and he recently emphasised that “the clubhouse is an integral part of this unique project.” Espiche now enjoys deserved global recognition as a leader in environment-friendly golf innovation.
