From a field of 108 payers Armando Bernardo emerged with 43 points to clinch the “Simply the Best 2016” title. Hosted at Morgado Golf Course, the competition was open to players who last year were nearest the pin on every par-3 hole across the 13th Casinos Solverde Circuit tournaments. A prize giving ceremony was held at the Hotel Algarve Casino, Praia da Rocha where Joel Pais, managing director of Casinos Solverde, Algarve also presented the 15th Solverde Circuit and confirmed that lucrative prizes including a valuable collection of Euro coins would be on offer. It was announced that the national final of the 15th Casinos Solverde Circuit will once again take place at the Morgado course.
